NUTRITION GAP PROGRAM


BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN HUNGER AND THE NEXT MEAL!

The COVID-19 Nutrition Gap Program (NGP) is aimed at supporting the nutritional needs of our most vulnerable population.

This project is funded through a grant from the ARPA of 2021 (H.R. 1319), as allocated by the Orange County Board pf Supervisors and administered by the Office on Aging.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

•    Individuals experiencing food insecurity residing in Orange County's 5th District

Additional Requirements

NGP participants MUST NOT currently be receiving assistance from other state or federal nutrition programs such as: Cal Fresh, Title I1I-C of the Older Americans Act (Congregate and Home­ Delivered Meals), Great Plates Delivered Program, etc.

Participants MUST reside in District 5 cities (Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, portions of Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, and the unincorporated communities of Coto de Caza, Emerald Bay, Ladera Ranch, Las Flores, Rancho Mission Viejo, Stonecliffe and Wagon Wheel.)  Please note that your address will be verified and you will be notified of your eligibility before meal delivery will begin.

Any applications submitted that are not eligible will not be approved.

Please remember, for each person who wants to participate in the Nutrition Gap program, a separate application is required. Filling out this application does not ensure automatic approval.
